1: Service Overview and Help
We had 3 major goals in mind. 1: Provide a system to encourage more players to play more matches more often. 2: Enable anybody who wants to play more tennis matches to be able to play matches when they choose at a venue and time they prefer. 3: Make it easy for anybody to setup and administer their own My Tennis Challenge Ladder competition.
A My Tennis Challenge Ladder is a list of players who can challenge other players on the Challenge Ladder to a tennis match.
Anybody can setup a My Tennis Challenge Ladder. Tennis Coaches, club and centre administrators, individual players, businesses, etc.
There are 2 different types of My Tennis Challenge Ladders. OPEN (This means the challenge ladder is open for anybody to join without the assistance of the challenge ladder administrator) or CLOSED (The challenge ladder administrator is the only person who can allocate players to the challenge ladder).
Yes, players of any age can play in My Tennis Challenge ladders. Players that are under 18 years of age must have the consent of their parent/guardian. The parent/guardian assumes full responsibility for travel organisation to and from the match, and assumes full responsibility for not only the players behavior, but for the supervision of their player.
When setting up a new challenge ladder the administrator can select by Standard, Date Range, Match Format, Ladder Type, Age, Gender, Preferred match location and cost.
It's absolutely FREE to set up all My Tennis Challenge Ladders.
When setting up the challenge ladder the administrator selects the participation fee. Players pay the ladder participation fee which lets them play as many matches as they choose for that ladder.
When setting up the Challenge Ladder the administrator selects the ladder start and end dates. Challenge Ladders can be anywhere from 1 day to a maximum of 3 months.

You can only challenge players that are within a 20% range of your position on the ladder. However to encourage players to play matches as soon as the challenge ladder is officially open the following rules apply. 1: Everyone has an initial ranking of 0 which means for each players first match they are free to challenge anybody on the ladder. (The above 20% rule does not apply) 2: The first 2 players to play a match and enter the match result will be ranked 1 and 2 on the ladder. 3: The next 2 players to play a match and enter the match result will be ranked 3 and 4 and the next 2 will be ranked 5 and 6 and so on until every player on the challenge ladder has played a match. 4: As soon as a player has a ranking on the ladder then they are restricted to challenge only the players who are in a 20% range to themselves on the ladder.
You can cancel a Challenge Request that you sent to another player before the other player replies by going to your Player panel -> Sent Challenges tab. On the far right you will be able to see a delete button on the right most side of the "not accepted" challenges.
Both players should turn up to play the match with at least 2 tennis balls or a can of balls that are either new or in good condition. The winner of the match should keep the unused can of tennis balls after the match.

After you play your 1st match on a challenge ladder you must pay the ladder participation fee to play another match on that ladder. Once you pay the participation fee you can play as many matches as you like until the ladder end date. You can only pay the Ladder Participation fee online via Credit Card. This is a secure process via PayPal. 1: Go to the ladder. 2: Click on the Pay the ladder participation fee button. 3: You will be transferred to the payment screen. 4: After successfully paying the ladder participation fee you will be transferred back to the ladder.
Players have 48 hours to accept or decline a challenge before it is automatically forfeited. If this happens the challenger will take the place of the player that they challenged and the player who forfeited will move down one position.
You cannot re-challenge a player who you have just played until both players have played another match on that particular challenge ladder.
To ensure that only players who want to be responsible and work to build a credible online My Tennis Challenge Ladder system we have integrated a player review system. This is like other user review systems that have become popular on many large websites such as Amazon, Yelp and many other websites where the users can give a review of the business, products or other users.
Each time you play a match you will be able to rate the following 4 aspects of your opponent in relation to that match.
Please choose carefully and be fair to your opponent. If a player receives a high number of 1 Star peer reviews from their opponents they may be banned from playing in future challenge ladders.
Off court demeanour. (Did the player behave in a sportsmanship like manner?) On court demeanour. (Did the player behave in a sportsmanship like manner?) Punctuality of the player. (Did the player arrive ready to play as agreed?) Would you recommend this player to other players?
1 Star = Did not meet expectation 2 Stars = Barely met expectation 3 Stars = Sufficiently met expectation 4 Stars = Exceeded all expectations 5 Stars = Would highly recommend to other players
Player review results are private and confidential. The system administrators are the only people who will see results of the player review system.
